Can I choose who I room with?

When you purchase your ticket there is a section where you can put the name of someone you want to room with. You may also contact your Camp Counselors, Brenda or Sydnee and ask to be roomed with someone specific. If you do not put down any names, we will room you with 2 other girls you think would be compatible.

It all started with a simple idea: bring the local lash community together. Brenda and Sydnee had spent countless hours scrolling through industry events, searching for a space where lash artists could truly connect—not just another networking event where people stood around clutching fancy cocktails, making small talk, and leaving without any real connections. They wanted something different.

At first, they dreamed big—high-end, luxury, the kind of event that would turn heads, but why call it Summer Lash Camp if there was no camp-like feel?

"Why don’t we just host it at the lake?" We had perfect summer weather. It was spacious. And most importantly, it fit the real vision of what we wanted: a community-driven event where everyone could relax, be themselves, and actually have fun.

We tried, at first, to make it feel “fancy.” But no matter how many table settings we arranged or décor ideas we brainstormed, something felt off. And then it hit us: Why fight it? Why try to make it something it wasn’t?

Instead, we embraced the magic of what was already there—the nostalgia of childhood summers, the thrill of making new friends, the joy of just playing without the pressure of looking or acting a certain way. So, we leaned in. Hard. We went full-blown Summer Camp mode.

Think: friendly competition, team games, prizes, beach days, and all the nostalgia of childhood summers—but this time, with your lash besties, good vibes, and a drink in hand (in a plastic cup, of course).
