Lash Artist / Lash Educator

I started Pacific Beauty Cove LLC back in early 2017 when I was 20 years old. I originally started my business so I could do spray tans as a side hustle, I had no idea my business would turn into what it is now.

I graduated from esthetics school in November 2017, and started working for a small salon in Bonney Lake, WA doing lashes a couple of days a week. I never took any formal training classes for lashes, I just picked up on things here and there because I had been told that lash classes were too expensive and they weren't necessary.

That statement and thought process was the one thing that held me back from reaching my full potential early on in my lash career. If I would have been told differently I would have been more successful sooner. Everything happens for a reason and I fully believe that I needed to go through that period of my career to appreciate where I'm at today.

In 2018 I married my husband and started renting a booth out of a salon in Sumner, WA. I wanted to do my own thing and be my own boss. This was a lot harder than I thought and I went through a very difficult time where I could only afford to pay myself $500 a month. It absolutely sucked but I stuck with it and I never gave up! I eventually built my clientele and I began to meet other lash artists through Instagram who really sparked a fire in me to improve my lash skills and improve my business.

In 2019 I took my very first Lash training class through Borboleta Beauty. (took me long enough right!)

Once I finished my first training course, I felt like my world was opened up to so many possibilities! I had learned so much new information and honestly became obsessed with learning everything there is to know about the lash industry.

I took several more lash courses that year and continued my educational journey. I had an amazing work-life balance and was able to create my own schedule and make a decent amount of money while still going on vacations with my husband and living my life to the fullest.

In early 2020 I took a mega volume course through LashBox LA and this was one of the hardest, yet most rewarding, classes I've ever taken. The instructor really took the time to talk to me individually and go over my business. This is when I made the decision to stop offering classic and hybrid lash extensions, and now only offer volume and mega volume lashes. My schedule was fully booked and I had to make the tough move to say goodbye to a lot of my clients. This was again one of the scariest things I've done, but closing this door and opening up a new one was what enabled me to double my income!

Currently, in 2021 I'm making 6 figures doing lashes 5 days a week and I'm constantly amazed at what my business has turned into. I'm so passionate about the lash industry that now I want to share my knowledge with other people who were once in my position. I now offer one-on-one in-person trainings for Classic, and Volume lashes as well as an advanced lash class called "Elevate". My next goal is to make these courses available online, so people outside of my area can also learn from me and have access to my industry knowledge.

If you want to keep following me and my lash journey make sure to follow me on Instagram! I'm constantly on my social media sharing my work and tips and tricks.
